HSM ( Hardware Security Module ) encoding and digital signature encoder with FIPS 140-2 Level 3 Certification. |
The system is composed of a cryptographic board with flexible internal software, allowing the host to access its functionality. The HSM is certified by FIPS 140-2 level 3 by NIST.
The module firmware protects any confidential data to be outputted of the HSM.
Accessing the protected cryptographic boundary is impossible due to the intrusion detection systems incorporated, that clear all information.
The firmware is upgradeable, using a secured authentication system, and providing a mechanism for having the HSM always up to date.
As a cryptographic module, Cryptosec offers, among others, the following functionalities:
- Encoding of symmetric key Data Encryption Standard (DES), triple DES with double key length and triple DES with triple key length
- Secure And Fast Encryption Routine (SAFER) with 64 y 128 bit in K & SK modes..
- Functions HASH: MD5, SHA-1 y RIPEMD with 128 y 160 bit.
- Public key standard RSA with key length of up to 4,096.
- TIME STAMPING time control.
- Generation of keys through a generator of random numbers
- Standard PKCS#11 interface.
- High capacity for storage of keys in internal memory.
For its characteristics, Cryptosec is ideal for use in:
1. Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) .
2. Encoding of communications.
3. Mass encoding of files and disks.
4. Data protection.
